Comment: Being one of the first to sign on the site, I thought it time to add some comments.

I've been in NW Montana for better than half my life, so I must like it here.  I met my wife Cheryl near Flathead lake 27 years ago and have been married for nearly 26 years.  We have one daughter who is now studying for a masters at the University of Leeds in the UK.  My wife has the last independent bookstore in the Flathead valley and we still operate a commercial real estate company which includes a hotel and several office and retail buildings (my wife is the CEO).  Steve Marqueson owns a restaurant where we dine frequently, but have seen only two other classmates (John Payne & Dave Leonard) when they visited Whitefish. Unfortunately I was unable to attend the reunion, but sometimes life gets in the way.  With the closing of Borders, my wife had the oppurtunity to open a bookstore in Kalispell and become the ONLY new bookseller in the Flathead Valley.  As we are both members of the LLC, I needed to stay and help put the operation together.  Retirment will have to wait.  Perhaps if some classmates have an opportunity to visit Glacier Park, they can look us up.
