Comment: Fortunately from 1957 when I played the Lawrence Welk Show, until 1966, I was in the music business as a percussionist.  I enjoyed general jobbing, teaching, playing eight years with "The Skeets Trio," and substituting with the Minneapolis Symphony.  Although it paid the bills and college expenses, it often left little time for high school activities. 



Upon graduation from the U of M in 1966, I moved to Louisville, Kentucky and joined the Ford Motor Co. Heavy Truck Division.  It was the beginning of a 36-year career with Ford.  The last 24 years involved working in Minneapolis with a Ford heavy truck dealership and writing educational programs for Ford Motor Co., aided by the educational skills of my wife, Marcia.



Since 1985, we have also owned a leasing company.  We now only work half-time, "12 hours a day"...  For the last several years I also have enjoyed a "hobby" business, restoring antique marine engines.  We both enjoy antique boating activities, travel, and activities in the Lake Minnetonka area.  We look forward to the reunion!

Comment:  After graduation from HHS, I worked at Prudential in Minneapolis. I then became a TWA stewardess flying international flights for 8 years; during that time I was based in Chicago and Boston. I then returned to college in Boston and obtained by RN degree. Thereafter I worked at Children's Hospital Medical Center in Boston.



I met and married my husband, John LaRossa, who is a physician specializing in Diabetes and Endocrinology at one of the Harvard Hospitals in the Boston area. I presently work in his office on a full-time basis.

We have one son, Christopher, who graduated from the University of Notre Dame. After graduation he worked in the US Senate in the office of  Sen. Bill Frist from Tennessee. He then went on to obtain a Master's Degree from Boston University and will be receiving his PhD in the field of Middle Eastern International Relations specializing in Islamic Political Thought from St. Andrews University in Scotland. Yes, he likes to play golf!

I look forward to seeing all of you at our reunion in the summer.
