Now I am really enjoying retirement.￿ I get to spend more time with our children and also our grandchildren.



In the summer I enjoy golfing with my friends, watching the Twins, walking my dog, and a little fishing.



In the winter I enjoy getting out of Minnesota to somewhere warmer.

Update: I am now retired and have 5 grandchildren.  Marilyn and I celebrated our 50th anniversary in February (2022) with a family trip to Marco Island with all 11 of us.  Keeping very active traveling, volunteering, reading, gardening, exercising, spending time with family and Happy Hours with friends.

Sure brings back memories. Speaiking of which I was at a wedding reception on Oct 2 at Layfaette Country Club. It looked the same as on our prom night.



We live in Colorado and spend as much time as possilbe in the winter on St John in the Virgin Islands.

Comment: 55 years have passed since our graduation. I moved to the Detroit area with my folks right after graduation. I now live in Northeastern Michigan on 130 acres of woods. I married the "boy next door" in 1965. We have 3 wonderful sons and they each have blessed us with 2 grand kids each. The "babies" range in age from 2 to 18. Love every one of them to the moon and back. I am retired from the banking industry. I started as a part time teller and slowly advanced to Branch Manager. It was a varied career over 30 years. My dear husband worked for Ford Motor as an engineer. Now we are both nothing but dog toys to our two labs. I have the usual hobbies of a girl raised in the 50s and 60s. I crochet (a lot) I read (a lot) I cook (a lot) and I have taken up walking (a lot). My dream is to hike the Appalachian Trail. It goes from Georgia to Maine. A total of 2200 miles. Someday.... someday. Our health is good. The usual aches and pains that come when one is chronologically enhanced. Life is good. I won't be there for the reunion. I will be sad to miss seeing every one and enjoying the festivities. Have fun and behave yourselves.
