Charles Edward (Chuck) Svihel passed away at 81 years on October 28, 2024 after declining from Alzheimers over a number of years. Born on January 18, 1943 to parents Stanley and Sylvia Svihel, Chuck (nicknamed Skip) grew up in Hopkins, MN.
Chuck was an elementary teacher in the Minneapolis School system for 40 years, with focus on math. He was often asked to work with the most challenging students because he related to them so well. Chuck enjoyed exercising and worked out every day throughout his life, until he entered Memory Care.

Mary was born on October 23, 1943 to Herbert and Lydia (Schrupp) Teborg in Minnetonka, MN. She grew up in Minnetonka and graduated from Hopkins High School. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Faith was a devoted teacher at Niles West High School for over 30 years. She enjoyed art, literature, and spoiling her grandchildren.
Faith is survived by her son, Merrick (Kathryn) Shapiro; granddaughters, Olivia and Kylie Shapiro; brother, Buzz (Karen) Vickerman; and niece, Amanda Vickerman.
