Laurie was a dear friend for many years, we had a lot of fun together and much laughter...we kept in touch as able and later contacted again after having our families...when we lived in Arizona, I saw her Mom who lived there too and golfed all the time. Her Mom lived a much longer life and was always busy. Laurie came to visit and we had more time to enjoy and she and Larry came to our home. After the 50th class reunion, we tried to write more often...she had some real medical issues earlier, but worked through it all and dedicated a good share of her life to helping others in her work. She had lost one son a few years ago and I remember how difficult that was for her. Her swimming at HHS was awesome...and that team was amazing. Her smile was always there for her friends. I will miss her!!!
