Pat was an amazing guy!  Pat, like me, lacked vast athletic talent.  Despite this handicap, he was bound and determined to be a goalie on the Hopkins hockey team.  He had a hockey net set up in his basement and invited frinends to come over ans shoot pucks at him all summer long.  He lettered as a backup goalie.
No one who knew him lacks a half dozen good Pat Connolly stories.  I was sitting next to him in the cafeteria one day.  Mike Bixby sat on the other side of him.  Mike reached over to snatch somthing off Pat's tray and Pat stabbed Mike in the back of he hand with his fork with a goalie's reflexes!  THe fork didn't penetrate very far. 
 

Thanks for making us laugh through school.  You had a talent.

 Pat was one of the funniest people I have known. Too bad the it had the Irish curse and departed so soon.

You and I shared alot of laughs and good times Pat. I think of you often. You went far, far too early.You deserved so much more.We can laugh again when it is my turn to come over.
