Hey pal, I still miss you!  All the stuff we did together from grade school to college were adventures only best friends could share.  I regret the years we missed.

Danny had a delightful way of making you laugh, his smile was known to everyone.  I heard that he had died in Viet Nam and thought what a hero he was, along with all of those who served, particularly those who gave the supreme sacrifice.  Miss you, Danny, but those memories stay with us! My Dear Dan,  I'll never forget all the wonderful times that we shared, starting with skating on the pond and Civil Air Patrol.  Thanks for all the things that I learned from you.  You were a very special friend.  Don't worry, I'll always remember the "glitter" thing.  From one of the "Two Sleepy People".

I saw your name on a Viet Nam Memorial that came to town in 1993. I was saddened to know that you were gone. I remembered the hours that we had spent together in conversations in our neighborhood. You were a wonderful friend and now I know that you died a hero! We'll meet again.
