Fred Finch, our Website Administrator, passed away in August. We urgently need a new Website Administrator. The website is temporarily being maintained by Pam Douglas Svihel, the backup administrator. Pam also maintains the classmate database and sends the bulk email messages. She isn't willing to also bear total responsibility for the website. We need another person to ensure the website doesn't disappear should anything happen to Pam who is 80 years old like the rest of us. Maintaining the website is quite easy. It is very automated, only requiring simple input once or twice a year. (Believe me - if I can do this, so can you! Pam)

The 60th Reunion
of the
Hokins High School
Class of 1961
(Held a year late!)
We had good turnout of classmates and guests for the 60th Reunion of the Class of 1961 on July 8 and 9, 2022 at Lord Fletchers on Lake Minnetonka.
On Friday, July 8, classmates gathered on the Wharf at Lord Fletchers for an informal get-together luncheon and lots of greetings and conversations.
Saturday evening, 64 classmates and guests attended a buffet dinner at Lord Fletchers. Again, the primary activity was conversation and reminiscences about the old days and about our classmates lives and careers during the intervening 61 years.
Don Michel received a special award from the Reunion Committee for his long service in creating and serving as the ongoing webmaster of this web site. Don has relinquished responsibility for running the web site and turned that duty over to Fred Finch.
Pam Douglas Svihel again served as the photographer for the reunion. Her photos of the reunion, including pictues of the classmates who attended and their spouses or guests have been posted in the Photo Album.
2019 Gathering
What a wonderful afternoon reuniting with everyone. Pictures have been posted in the Photo
Albums section of the website. There will be one more get together next summer and we have already started planning for the 60th reunion.
2018 Gathering
The 2018 Annual Gathering at the Gold Nugget was a fun time for all and we have posted the pictures on the website. Go to Photo Albums and click on 2018 Gathering.
2017 Gathering
September 14th at the Gold Nugget Tavern & Grille 14401 Excelsior Blvd Minnetonka MN between Noon and 5:00 PM.
What a fun time we had! 45 mostly classmates showed up including a couple of first timers....Neal Frank and Gary Ulku. Nice to see more people checking out this fun event.

The next gathering will be September 13, 2018. This is the year when most of us will turn 75 years old - three quarters of a century!!! Its bound to be a really fun event.

Our 55th Reunion!!
Our 55th reunion started Friday the 22nd with a luncheon and get together on the docks of Lord Fletcher's. Classmates enjoyed a warm sunny day with great food and drink and most of all seeing each other and reconnecting.
The Saturday extravaganza started at 5:00 in Fletcher's Paddle Club with a wonderful buffet, drink and extraordinary entertainment.

2nd Annual Gathering Took Place
September 10th 2015 At the Gold Nugget in Glen Lake Minnesota
50 classmates and significant others met at the Gold Nugget for a wonderful afternoon and evening of food drink and socializing. We have installed many pictures on the website that can be found under Photo Albums. Check it out.
